Q: Can I send to a P.O. Box?
A: No. FedEx will not ship to a P.O. Box. FedEx requires a physical address.

Q: Can I send to a college dorm?
A: Yes, but because of the nature of the residence a signature will be required. We strongly recommend you let the college student know a package is coming and to be on the look out.

Q: Is there a card enclosed?
A: Yes. We print your personal message on a card.

Q: How are the products sent?
A: All products are flash frozen and packed with dry ice in a reusable “keep fresh” cooler and shipped via FedEx Priority Overnight Service.

Q: Can you ship outside of the USA?
A: No. Currently we can only ship within the USA.

Q: Can I ship to Puerto Rico?
A: Yes, Puerto Rico is a territory of the United States, we can ship there for an additional $55.00 per package.

Q: Can I ship to Alaska or Hawaii?
A: Yes, there is an additional shipping charge of $35.00 per package.

Q: Can I purchase gift certificates for product packages?
A: Yes, you can purchase a gift certificate for a specific item, or you can purchase gift cards for any amount over $25.00. Please call 1.888.OTTOBRO to purchase a gift certificate or gift card.

Q: What time will the package be delivered?
A: Packages shipped Priority Overnight Service will be delivered before 11:00 a.m.An exact time of delivery cannot be given - it depends where the address is on the FedEx courier’s route.

Q: Will FedEx or Ottomanelli Brothers call before delivering the package?
A: No, it is your responsibility to let the recipient know a package is coming. We strongly advise this because the package is of a perishable nature and needs to be put in refrigeration ASAP.

Q: Does someone have to be home to sign for the package?
A: When sending to a residential address it is standard practice to release the package at the door if no one is home. Please advise the recipient a package is coming and to be on the lookout. If the recipient wasn't home FedEx will typically leave the package at the front door.

Q: What if the FedEx Courier cannot leave the package at the door without a signature?
A: The courier will take the package back to the FedEx Station and it will be the recipient’s responsibility to pick it up or schedule a redelivery before the products spoil.

Q: Will FedEx keep the package refrigerated?
A: No, the products are packed in dry ice in “keep fresh” coolers that will keep for 24 to 48 hours depending on the size of the package.

Q: What if there is no dry ice in the package when I open it?
A: Dry ice evaporates, so there may not be any visible dry ice in the package upon opening. If the products are cool to the touch, they are OK to eat.

Q: How long can the products keep in the “keep fresh” coolers?
A: All packages have enough dry ice to keep products frozen for 36 to 48 hours from the time they leave our facility.

Q: How long do the products keep in the freezer?
A: For the best taste, we recommend eating the frozen products within 30 days, however the products will keep in the freezer longer.
